Conference Audio Visual were again proud to support the Annual Australian Hearing Conference &  Awards Night with AV and set decoration.

Australian Hearing is the nation’s leading hearing specialist and largest provider of Government funded hearing services. Established by the Australian Government in 1947 they provide an invaluable service to our country.

As a part of their ongoing business model of alway improving the skills and service levels of all their staff they hold an annual conference for all their employees.

Held this year at the Amora Hotel Jameson Sydney. With two full days of conferencing and a very special “Hollywood Awards Night”

Conference Audio Visual supplied all AV and themeing components, including a red carpet entrance surrounded by gold bollards and velvet ropes.

We had been presented with quite a challenge to transform their day conference room in to a fully themed awards & dinner venue to celebrate their achievements of with their peers. With the had work of 8 staff we were able to transform the space in just under 2 hours in total.

Moving Spotlights in tall stands around the room gave a real feeling of excitement, reminiscent o the Hollywood searchlights as seen in the 20th century fox fanfare. These were added to the pre existing AV setup from the days event.

On stage a light up sign spelling out the word “Hollywood” featured with red and black wall to wall draping. The red drape wis tied back with gold coloured ties. The room was finished off  with glittering gold lighting to really create the Hollywood effect. Using the latest in LED lighting gave us the flexibility to change the colour in the room throughout the event.

The Hollywood Theme will always be a great choice for themed events. The power of the silver screen or big screen is embedded into our culture. Television only increases the power and reach of “hollywood theme” for corporate events.

You can not think of the slits and glamour of Hollywood with out thinking of the the silver screen icons such as Marilyn Monroe or Fred Astaire. We have worked on similar events where impersonators roamed the room interacting with guests for photo opportunities.

The possibilities are limitless, how about incorporating an awards ceremony complete with statues and trophies for the winner. We can help script the night including a virtual orchestra for walkup music, a themed lectern or podium for speeches and red carped and gold bling as far as the eye can see!

Props are also very popular including clapper boards, film canisters, movie posters and old film cameras on tripods these can all be hired in relatively inexpensively from the local film & tv props hire store. As a part out our service we are happy to facilitate this
